- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I give this place no star. Don't trust this place. I placed my mom there and they promised so much. That they would care for her like there own.. Nothing but lies!!! - ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪Signature Healthcare Of Brookwood Gardens located in Homestead,Florida I'll rated 0*. Not counting the Staff of Physical Therapy! Before I type anything about what it's very important, I'll take a time to thank Mr. Santos Rodriguez for been so professional. Also the rest of Physical Therapy Staff. I do understand that this facility is not part of a continuing care retirement community. However, no one let you know when the patient gets there. My mom was transferred to this place,after been at the hospital due to a fall that caused her brain damage. And this is when our worst nightmare started! First of all,Staff doesn't have courtesy, I will never forget when one day I went to the nurse station and asked for a medication my mother needed (if I didn't ask for it,she would not get it!) And one of the nurse told a CNA to please get it and when the CNA turned around,she rolled her eyes!! A CNA named Kimberly. Medication not on time, I remember when I was told that they "don't have" an exact schedule for meds. Another issue, CNA was never on time to change my mom's diaper. Bathroom from room was dirty. I guess no one took the time to read my mom's chart,since they didn't know anything about her needs! This place should be close!! They have no professionalism! I'm so sad for those who are still there! I'm so thankful my mom is OUT now and receiving excellent care! I'm also thankful that I was able to take care of her and WATCH over her day and night! One more thing, SO THANKFUL I didn't get to beat somebody!! The To those who have family here,PLEASE withdrawal them from this crazy place,and whoever is planning to take a loved one, if you really love them,DON'T DO IT!
